We are all grateful to have resumed a more familiar congregational life with in-person Shabbat, High Holy Day worship, and in-person learning across our entire Youth and Adult Educational Programs. As the Board of Trustees’ Leadership Team, we understand how critical it is to engage our members and supporters throughout the year. Without the generosity and compassion of our members, Sinai would be less than its potential.
The past two years have required us to consider how members relate to each other, how they value the priceless life lessons of community and our highest priority: allowing members to maintain our ties to Judaism and to each other. Our guiding principles have been to do the most good, for the most congregants, in the safest manner at all times.
The proof of your support is the resilience of our organization as we emerge from surviving to thriving as a growing Reform congregation in Milwaukee. As we near the end of the calendar year, we renew our request for you to help strengthen our community with a gift to our annual Builders and Founders Appeal. We appreciate that you have already made your generous annual pledge to sustain our Sinai family. What we know is our voluntary pledges only meet 70% of our annual budget, therefore we once again conduct the Builders and Founders Appeal to help to bridge that gap.
In prior years, the leadership arranged to enable you to fund contributions or pledges by transferring appreciated publicly traded stock or by using IRA distributions to Sinai. Please see the enclosed donation form for details.
Thank you for supporting the annual Builders and Founders Appeal with an additional donation. Please visit the Sinai website (www.congregationsinai.org/supportsinai) or complete the enclosed form and return it along with your donation to Congregation Sinai postmarked no later than December 31, 2022 to claim your tax deduction for this year.
Your participation in worship and activities, and your unflagging financial support, allow Congregation Sinai to thrive. Our Sinai family continues for you – our builders, founders, and sustainers – and we thank you.
Wishing you and your families a healthy and safe 2023.
