At Sinai, we like to think of ourselves as “inclusive” and put forth great effort to do so. While we added the “T” to LGBTQ+ we haven’t addressed or even learned about what it actually means to be trans. We are fortunate to have as a guest speaker, Brian Edwardson. What has been his experience? What can synagogues do to be welcoming to trans Jews? And what does it mean to be an ally and how does one do that?
